I have listed below the most frequently asked questions, things I am asked on a daily basis. I hope this information is useful to you & I think I have covered most areas.  Is Ace Cleaning A Franchise Or Agency?

No.... Ace Cleaning is an independently owned, family run business that was formed in 1995. Since that time, it has grown slowly & steadily. Due to our high standards & reliability it is now the first choice for many customers requiring domestic cleaning, or ironing, in the local area.

 

Can I Expect The Same Cleaners Each Visit?

Yes .... Unlike many other companies Ace Cleaning believe that you can only clean a home thoroughly & efficiently, if you are very familiar with it & you are working to a good routine. With this is mind, we always aim to allocate you the same cleaning ladies for each visit, this ensures that both you and our staff have continuity. Of course it is also essential that you know who has access to your home.

 

Who Will Clean My Home?

All Ace Cleaning employees are employed directly by us. As an independently owned company, we do not use contractors or self employed workers. Every member of staff has supplied excellent references and we have recently introduced CRB checking for your complete peace of mind. Our staff also receive intensive training, not only in the cleaning of your home, but also in all aspects of health & safety.

 

Do You Carry Insurance?

You can be safe in the knowledge that as we employ all our staff directly on a PAYE basis we are legally obliged to carry full Public & Employer liability insurance. Whilst we will always clean your home with the greatest of care I'm sure you will appreciate that accidents can happen. If this should occur, you can be assured that we will repair or replace without question. Equally important, our staff are insured should they ever hurt themselves. 

 

Do You Hold Our Keys?

As the majority of our customers are not at home whilst their cleaning is taking place, we are fully insured as key holders. You can rest assured that we take the security of your home very seriously and will ensure your house keys are secure at all times.  If & when you feel comfortable with allocating us a key to your home, it will be tagged with our unique coding system and issued to your cleaning ladies as and when required.

 

Will I Be Able To Choose My Cleaning Day?

We do our very best to accommodate every customers cleaning requests. If you do have a preference for a cleaning day, we try our best to meet it. If however, we do not have a vacancy in your area on your preferred day we will let you know what days are available immediately and promise to move you to your preferred day as soon as possible.

 

How Do I Pay For My Cleaning Service?

You don't need to leave any payment on the day of our visit, this is for two reasons. Firstly, we don't believe you should pay for anything until you are completely satisfied with the results and secondly we don't think it is the responsibility of our cleaning ladies to collect payments for us. We therefore issue you an invoice on a four weekly basis in arrears, and ask that you either pay via internet banking, or pop a cheque in the post for which a self addressed envelope is supplied.

 
Do I Need To Supply Any Equipment Or Materials?

We supply all the equipment & materials needed to clean your home thoroughly other than a mop & bucket, It was recommended by the Health & Safety Executive in our recent inspection that we stop supplying a mop & bucket for hygiene reasons. We also come armed with a selection of clean, colour coded micro fibre cloths for each room. This ensures that there is never any chance of cross contamination issues from bathrooms to kitchens.  If you have a preference for environmentally friendly products, we will happily use these in your home.

 
What If I Have Pets?

We understand that your pets are treasured members of your family, as are ours. They will therefore be treated that way. All our staff are pet friendly and we will do our best to make sure that having non family members in their home, is as painless as possible for them. This is another very important reason for you having the same cleaners for each visit, as your pets get to know the ladies very quickly and are soon very comfortable with them. We can of course let them out in the garden and refill their water bowls if you would like us to.

 

Am I Expected To Sign A Contract?

We never ask anyone to sign a contract, we are more than happy to earn your continued custom through our hard work & reliability. We only ask that should your circumstances change and you no longer need our help that you try and give us a little notice to enable us to re-schedule. We do however understand that this may not always be possible.
